This season, Leigh Halfpenny has consistently been a better kicker than Owen Farrell.

In the build-up to the crunch Six Nations game between England and Wales we’ve looked at the stats of each team’s main kicker to see who comes out on top.

With an overall kicking success rate of 86.1% in this international season, Leigh Halfpenny has out-kicked his English counterpart Farrell who has a success rate of just 71.9%.

In the Six Nations this season Farrell’s success rate is even lower at just 64.3% compared to Halfpenny’s 80%.
Kicking just five out of nine penalties in this year’s competition, the England fly-half has a success rate of just 55.6% compared to Halfpenny’s 81.8%.

The bulletin was picked up by Wales Online whose reporter, Simon Gaskell, produced this article
